A better environment makes for a healthier and more pleasant place to live. Due to increasing interest to invest in environmentally healthy localities, Negros real estate and Bacolod property values have also increased and is expected to go up some more as more places in the country become more congested and polluted.
Bacolod City has also been recently declared as a “City of Excellence” for information technology and business by the DOST-Information and Communications Technology Office and the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines. This increased interest of local and foreign BPO companies to open centers in Bacolod, boosting the economy further.
